WINTER BEAUTY MUST HAVES (2014)
Its officially winter! I feel like I keep saying this over and over again but up until a while ago it seemed like I was simply trying to convince myself. Nonetheless I think with the chill in the air and the super cold nights we might finally have approached winter. So just like every other season I round up some of my favourite products, or beauty must haves – It was officially that time for the winter of 2015. Sometimes I have to do several versions of these because well, one blog is never enough just like one lip stick is never enough. So here is my early winter round up of beauty products you are definitely going to want this winter.
Kores Cucumber Eye Gel
One of the most common queries I get are for under eye circles and bags. Well this winter you might want to jump on the Kores band wagon. This is a great soothing eye mask that smells and feels just like real cucumber slices. With the added benefits of betaine and rhodiola rosea, this not only helps you feel and look fresh but reduces under eye bags greatly. You can apply it for 15 minutes or right before you sleep, it guarantees results.
Glossier Face Mist
I don’t know about you ladies, but I love a good, clean face mist. The first one I got addicted to, was MAC’s finishing face mist with Rose Water. This ons is by Glossier and It’s made with roses, aloe, honeysuckle, and a medley of other ingredients that give it a floral scent and soothing feel. So if you’re looking for an instant refreshing pick me up on a busy work day, give this a shot!
Lo’real Mythic Hair Oil
If you love straightening your hair, but are tired of the dull and shine free look, definitely invest in L’Oreal Mythic Hair Oil. Like face oil, it instantly adds moisture to your strands But be careful: a few drops will make your hair sleek and shiny, but too much too close to the roots will leave strands greasy. (Call us and we might have this in stock!)
B. by Balenciaga
Balenciaga recently hired Alexander Wang as their design head, so everyone was really looking forward to his first fragrance release. This is probably my most favourite perfume for this winter, so if you’re looking to invest in a perfume that is going to go a long way – pick this, choose this, take this. With hints of lily of the valley and cedarwood, this will instantly freshen up any day or evening. If you’re a gal looking for a sophisticated scent, this ones for you.
Vaseline Lip Therapy in “Creme Brulee”
Alright, so if you follow my blog regularly you all know I am a sucker for good lip balms & Vaseline has done it yet again. Presenting their mini bejeweled Vaseline lip therapy in “Creme Brulee”, this not only feels and tastes good but it looks mighty cute too! Not to mention how yummy it smells, so all you you will taste & smell dessert!
Remember, winters are all about hydration, especially with the dry winter we are having so far. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water, which becomes hard in the winter since we might not get as hungry as we do in the summer. I would also love to hear from you, so if you read this, drop me some feedback on my Facebook page and let me know what you would like to read more of on my blog. Till next time, have a fabulous week!
